Its a new season for the Creation Club in Skyrim and multiple new creations are here. I wont be looking at the two armor creations that come for 1 dollar each, but we have a lot to discuss otherwise so lets get started.

Hendraheim- 400

I will be honest, I do not get the allure of player home creations. There are too many free ones on the nexus as alternatives. Hendraheim is a well designed home by Elianora and is based off Thirsk Mead Hall and Jorvaskr, and offers a very brief quest to get. It is a very cool home, but I just don’t see it as being worth 4 dollars, especially since the home is based off the aforementioned halls in Skyrim.

The Grey Cowl Returns – 250

First let me say that no, this is not like the free mod , The Grey Cowl of Nocturnal, so don’t expect anything like that. What is here though, is a decently priced creation that offers a quest to find the Grey Cowl in Skyrim. This quest has multiple ways to go about completing it, and makes heavy use of stealth and thief tactics. What is very interesting is that the creation offers a very interesting expansion of the lore of the Grey Cowl and the overall mythos itself, with strong implications on the overall story. The Cowl has a very powerful enchantment on it, and its an excellent tool for any thief build. I think this one is very much worth getting, but some people might want to wait for a bundle.

Side note: I do recommend checking out the mod The Grey Cowl of Nocturnal as it is a great thief mod.

Goblins -400

Goblins is a brief dungeon crawl that offers a small quest to clear out a Goblin nest and fight their leader.  The goblins are retextured rieklings with some alterations that put up a decent fight. The dungeon itself is nothing special however, and the final boss of the quest is himself nothing interesting.  AI like that the goblins have been brought to Skyrim, but this creation really doesn’t add much. There is a new follower here as well, with a new Goblin follower and some new weapons to gain, so there is that. But is it worth 4 dollars? I think you would be best served waiting for a bundle.

Saints and Seducers -1500

The most expensive creation ever, Saints & Seducers offers a lot of content, but if its enough is debatable. This creation does provide around 2.5 to 3 hours worth of content, and offers a many new implications for the lore of the series, especially with regards to the shivering isles. There is a main quest available, and multiple side quests in addition to a new dungeon that actually is rather different compared to what is in the base game, and offers a bit of a nostalgic feel for players of Oblivion. Most of the quests are various fetch quests or killing bandits, but as stated, there is a deeper level of design here, and the overall story parts are well done. I would have loved voice acting in this creation however, as that would have made it much better. There are a ton of new weapons, items, alchemical ingredients, potions, spells, and armors. There are four main new armor sets, each with their own new tiers , as well as legendary items that are rather powerful. This is not even getting into the incidental items that come with the creation, and I must once again say how amazing the new dungeon is.  The price is extremely steep though, so that may hold people back from trying it, and I think Bethesda realized that. To make up for this, they have added an additional creation into this as a bundle. Still, 15 dollars is a lot to ask, and you can get Fallout 76 for less nowadays. Its a big step forward for the creation club, but  Bethesda still needs to find a good pricing model. If voice acting was included though, I think I would have a much easier time recommending this,

Dead Man’s Ship 750

Another Lore expansion creation and a player home creation, mixed with a dungeon crawl. This sees you explore a save to find a pirate ship deep within. There is an eerie feeling as you explore and fight skeletons. Overall, the ship is based on the Katariah, and within the captain’s quarters is where the lore factor comes in. You will learn more about the legend of Cyrus, the player character from the Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, and more about his fate after that game. You will even get his armor set and sword from the game and be able to use them yourself. There is a good story in this creation and just when you think it is done, it surprises you with a second part. Once the quest is finished, you can get the ship itself as a player home after a few in game days. Overall a very decent creation, but once again I think you would be best served waiting for a bundle as Bethesda does those quite often. I just don’t think 7.50 is worth it for what is offered.

Will you be getting anything from these?
