Hit YouTube franchise, Spy Ninjas, has announced the start of their fundraising campaign, Chad’s Wild Climb, with proceeds aiding the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in response to Chad Wild Clay’s recent cancer diagnosis. Viewers (who are affectionately called fellow “Spy Ninjas”) can help Chad Wild Clay, Vy Qwaint and the rest of the Spy Ninjas community reach their $100,000 goal by donating through Tiltify between now and April 29. To kickstart the campaign, Chad and Vy have made a $10,000 donation to Make-A-Wish.

After being diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer, the husband-and-wife YouTuber duo were motivated to use their current situation to educate children about the importance of being good community members, friends and family members. Chad’s Wild Climb is intended to shed light on a difficult but important topic, while creating a fun community event that is very much endemic to Spy Ninjas values.

“Make-A-Wish has been granting wishes for over 40 years, and it is always humbling to form new partnerships with the sole purpose of helping children reclaim a piece of their childhood back,” said Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America. “We are thankful to have Spy Ninjas’ aid in bringing more wishes to life because wishes give children the strength they need to fight their illnesses and have a better chance of recovering.”

As part of Chad’s Wild Climb, Spy Ninjas will be releasing a series of special episodes, including a video in February in honor of World Cancer Day (2/4). In April, donors can participate in a virtual Minecraft climb event which will be featured in an upcoming episode as well.

The campaign concludes on World Wish Day at Spy Ninjas HQ in Las Vegas. World Wish Day is celebrated every year on April 29, the anniversary of the wish that inspired the founding of the organization more than 40 years ago. A child’s wish to meet Chad and Vy will be granted during the event with a tour of Spy Ninjas HQ and a private meet-and-greet. At the event, Spy Ninjas will unveil a plaque honoring the fundraiser’s top donor, to be installed at the top of the new Spy Ninjas climbing wall.

“We are extremely grateful to have the opportunity to use our platform to support Make-A-Wish and make a child’s wish a reality,” said Vy Qwaint and Chad Wild Clay, Co-Founders of Spy Ninjas. “This cause is so important to us, both personally and collectively as Spy Ninjas, and we’re glad to have a partner like Tiltify that is helping us engage with our audience to reach our goal. ”  [We want to remind our young fans to be great community members by helping their friends in need and to find ways to smile while dealing with life’s challenges. This is how Spy Ninjas roll with the proverbial punches.]
