The state of Hawaii will be investigating EA and other companies under claims of predatory practices. This is with regards to Loot Boxes and whether or not they are forcing gambling onto consumers.
This is a major event, because government has not intervened to this extent in gaming in decades. Hopefully some positives will come out of this.
