The first teaser trailer for the Super Mario Bros. animated movie will be shown at New York Comic Con.
The news was announced by the convention on Twitter and the trailer should be online shortly after it is revealed on October 6.
While news about the Super Mario Bros. animated movie has been slow to come, many are still excited since it was first announced at the very start of 2018. In fact, the most news we had was when the main cast was announced around one year ago.
The cast lineup includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peachm Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike. In addition, there will also be surprise cameos from Charles Martinet.
While the Super Mario Bros. movie was originally planned for December 21, 2022, it will now debut on April 7, 2023.
