A Super Smash Brothers Direct is scheduled for Thursday, January 16th! Masahiro Sakurai announced today that he is hosting a Nintendo Direct to show off the final fighter in the Fighter’s Pass. This is a monumental moment as he hasn’t shared anything about who this fighter could be. In the past, there has been some form of announcement beforehand, but this time he is going to announce it then and there in the stream.
There are many possible characters that he could choose from, so it’s anyone’s guess. At 35 minutes this Direct could hold other secrets as well. Maybe new Game Modes or a reveal of another fighter for a second fighter’s pass. Fans are sure to be excited for whoever is chosen to be in the amazing game.
