The Switch Joy-Con drift class action lawsuit has received a new update after a long time of no information. Today it was revealed that the case will go into arbitration.

What happened was a Washington federal judge, found that Nintendo and Switch owners had a valid arbitration agreement, and U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Zilly granted Nintendo’s bid to compel arbitration.  Nintendo was denied their move to dismiss the case altogether, so something will happen. That said, the original class action lawsuit will be halted for the time being, and depending on how arbitration goes, it may either pick back up or be dismissed.
