When the Nintendo Switch was first announced to have paid online services, many were afraid that the cost would be too high. Some were thinking of how Sony has raised the price of PS+ a large amount, and how Xbox Live is expensive as well.
We have no need to fear it seems as Serkan Toto has mentioned that Tatsumi Kimishima revealed to Nikkei that online services will cost 2-300 Yen ( USD 17.50-26.50) on a yearly basis. This is much better than many were fearing and should come as a relief.
1) Just in: Nintendo president Kimishima tells the Nikkei Switch's online service will be priced at 2-3,000 yen ($17.50 – $26.50) *YEARLY*.

He also repeats that Switch’s virtual console games will have online features such as multiplayer.
2) Kimishima says the yearly fees make it easier for Nintendo to support online features such as multiplayer or downloads of classic games.
