SNK has announced that The King of Fighters XV Season 2 will start with the release of the DLC character Shingo Yabuki on January 17, with Kim Kaphwan following this spring, and Sylvie Paula Paula and Najd this summer.
In addition, there are still two unannounced characters that are due out this fall. Besides the new characters, the new season will bring, a character balance and a “DJ Station” update are planned for release alongside Shingo Yabuki on January 17, and a cross-play open beta test is planned for spring. The “DJ Station” update will add staff rolls from 15 numbered The King of Fighters titles and more songs are planned for release in the future.
The King of Fighters XV is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC.
