Light Fingers is a fantastic game out now on Nintendo Switch. This game is all about the ideals of being a thief and stealing anything the player can get their hands on. This game is a multiplayer game where everything is done in real time which is perfect for a party amongst the player’s closest friends or worst enemies.

Light Fingers takes place on a magic gameboard where every move matters. Players can use misdirection and feints to wipe out an opposing opponents stash. Run around with friends and shoot to be the best of the best thieves.

The game itself is a nice looking one. The characters, while clearly not the nicest, also look like they fit into a story book setting. There are regular looking human thieves and even anthropomorphic animal characters. It might make sense for a rabbit to be stealing, but I’d never expect some big bug to be a thief.

Lightfingers is a game that should be played multiplayer but can also be played solo. While definitely not as fun, it does in fact work quite well as a solo game. The player must guide their character through different puzzles and gather treasure.

Lightfingers is truly best played in multiplayer. In multiplayer, players run around a map looking for treasure. This game takes place on a live gameboard where players can use all methods of trickery to win. There is something maniacal about stealing from friends and enemies alike.

The game itself has two different game modes: one is a board campaign and the other is a dungeon rush. Board campaigns require at least two players, and they cannot be computer. This makes this mode one that needs to be shared and honestly it’s important. There is something about modes requiring multiple players that cements fun is on the way.

Players can choose standard rules or adjust to their hearts content. It’s always good to be able to just jump in or adjust for time. Players can adjust things from board size to amount of loot needed and even traps. This is great because players can adjust and grow or jump right into the hardest difficulty.

Dungeon Rush is a lot less cemented and can be played solo. Running around a randomly generated dungeon with up to 4 players can also be a lot of fun. The game will have the players shoot for the highest amount of gold and the more players the easier that will be.

The dungeon rush mode is guided by a thieving master who may or may not goad the player to playing more. He is sarcastic and doesn’t think much of the player. It is an interesting thing to be taken lightly by an NPC. He will eventually begin to like the player but only if they can get things done.

Lightfingers is a fantastic game that takes players through a fantastic thieving adventure. Playing either solo or with friends will test the players mettle as they battle for the top spot. Lightfingers is a game that will steal the spotlight in both single and multiplayer, and is a must for any group of gamers.
