Looking to make your journey across the vast world of Aionios a bit meatier? In the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 game for the Nintendo Switch system, you can scale cliffs, descend sandy slopes, zipline across ropes and sail the seas – and with the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass DLC*, there’s even more rich gameplay to sink your teeth into! Wave 2 launches today and includes a new Hero character that grants access to the new class, “Noponic Champion,” Challenge Battles, unique accessories and special outfits.

About that new Hero character – word around Ribbi Flats is there’s a girl named Ino who looks a bit … mechanical!? Once you’ve reached Chapter 3, you can complete Ino’s Hero quest to recruit her. She’ll join your party, expanding the classes and gameplay options available to you!

If you’re up for a real challenge, it’s just a short hop, skip and a jump away on the world map to the Land of Challenge, where you access the Challenge Battle mode. Test your might in consecutive battles against tough enemies! Beating each challenge the first time gives you either a unique accessory or unlocks a swimsuit outfit for one character.

Still eager to prove your skills? Further triumphs in Challenge Battles earn you Red Nopon Stones that can be exchanged to unlock classes for specific characters, or for hard-to-obtain accessories and even Gold/Silver Nopon Coins.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, which includes four total volumes that will be released through the end of 2023, is available for purchase now in Nintendo eShop.
