Capcom seems to have plans for the Blue Bomber. Back in 2018, domains were registered for Mega Man 12, Mega Man 13, Mega Man 14 and Mega Man 15 and all four domains received an update in March of 2022. The domains were registered by GMO Internet Group – a provider based in Japan that registers domain names on behalf of Capcom, such as registering domains for Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 2 and Monster Hunter: World.
These Mega Man domains are placeholders for now. as all four domains were preemptively registered a few months ahead of Mega Man 11’s initial release. What is interesting is the recent updates and the upcoming 35th anniversary season, which means this may be something to watch after all.
Mega Man 11 recently became the best-selling game in the franchise, and so Capcom will no doubt want to keep the series going.
