Cotton Fans rejoice as City Connection has announced Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute for PlayStation 4 and Switch at Shooting Game Daikanshasai 2021. The collection will launch on September 30 in Japan with standard and special editions, with pre-orders opening April 27.
This collection will include the 1997 title Cotton 2, and the 1998 titles Cotton Boomerang and Guardian Force. While all three games were released for arcades, this collection will be based on the Sega Saturn versions. The collection will include various quality-of-life features, such as a function to use rapid-fire shooting as standard, the ability to rewind to past scenes, quick save and load, online rankings, and more.
In addition, City Connection is considering additional platforms beyond the PS4 and Switch.
