Prolific homebrew dev Jweii, known for demakes of games in franchises like Castlevania and Contra has a new project in the works.
Jweii is doing a remake of the NES Friday the 13th game that is being dubbed a reimagined version.
This version has a number of changes, such as Tommy Jarvis as the main character, redone zombies and smoother animations for characters.
The graphics have been reworked and there are new light sources and newly introduced fog among other changes in the environments.
There are also new voice effects, including from the zombie enemies.
