The next game in the SEGA Ages series will be coming on October 31 for Switch when Phantasy Star releases.
The SEGA Ages of Phantasy Star will have a number of features, including a bestiary, item and magic list, and auto-mapping functionality. The item list will display weapons and armor, what characters can equip them, their stats, any unique attributes, and their prices.
There is also a music player, which is equipped with a built in FM Sound Unit and includes 19 tracks from both the original version and the FM Sound Unit version.
i LOVE the game, but I really wish Sega had M2 work with Reiko Kodama and some talented pixel artists to update the game’s visuals and animations to look visually on par something like Phantasy Star IV, and the high quality pixel art & animation of Monster World but applied to Phantasy Star.
Kinda like visually upgraded up with more animated backgrounds, more graphical detail, etc… basically a 1:1 2d pixel based HD visual enhanced version that looks as beautiful as Sonic Mania looked…. *sigh*
